XIAO JIA BIN (ZHONG QIANG XIAO)
Chinese Medical Practitioner
Zhong Qiang, from Beijing, China, has 50 years of experience and worked at the most prestigious hospital in China. After arriving in Sydney in 1991, he started his own practice. He was the president of ATCMA (Australian Traditional Chinese Medicine Association), the honorable president of CMASA (Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Society of Australia) and the founding director of the WFCMS (World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies). Zhong Qiang is currently a registered Chinese Medical Practitioner, graduate of the Beijing College of Chinese Medicine (predecessor of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine) and Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (predecessor of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine). In his early years, he was the apprentice of the renowned TCM practitioner, Zhou Muxin, in Beijing, who was an imperial physician for the Qing Dynasty. Zhong Qiang followed the practices of renowned TCM practitioners: Ji Liangchen, Yin Huihe, Suo Yanchang and etc. Zhong Qiang's expertise is in paediatrics, internal medicine and gynaecology, esp. infertility, which led to his fame. Since the start of his practice in Chatswood, he has successfully treated infertility resulting in over 1000 pregnancies. This brought happiness and prosperity to hundreds upon hundreds of families.
HENRY XIAO (SON OF ZHONG QIANG XIAO)
Chinese Medical Practitioner
Henry who was born and bred in Sydney, developed a traditional yet Australian style of practice in herbal medicine and acupuncture. Drawing from his father’s extensive experience of over 50 years in the field, Henry upholds the legacy of his family's expertise. As a bilingual speaker of English and Chinese, he is dedicated to providing sincere, high-quality patient care. Henry, a UTS graduate in Chinese Medicine with a previous admission into the most prestigious university scholarship program in Australia, UNSW Co-op (in Business Information System), seamlessly combines traditional wisdom and contemporary practice. Furthermore, Henry has inherited and gained considerable knowledge of herbal medicine and acupuncture from many renowned mentors.
